IMPORTANT NOTICE, 08.05.12:
Someone claiming to be John Birkby has today sent out eMails, probably to all the addressees in his Webmail address book, stating that he is in Spain, assisting his seriously ill cousin, and requesting a loan to be sent through Western Union to a Madrid address. This is of course a despicable scam and should be ignored.
John regrets any inconvenience this may have caused and is urgently investigating how to prevent a recurrence.
